KUCHING: Futsal enthusiasts in Kuching now have an alternative venue to play the game following the opening of Vikings Futsal Stadium in Matang yesterday. The new state-of-the art facility which is located only 50m from Jalan Matang-Batu Kawa and Jalan Matang traffic junction is the product of five years of collaboration between Uhsports Sdn Bhd and Vikings Futsal Association Australia. The stadium which houses four courts is equipped with Stardlex Gridcourt Interlock flooring which is the first of its kind in Kuching and recognised by Brazilian Futsal Confederation and Chinese Football Association.
